We hesitate to use the expression ‘Poacher turned Gamekeeper’ because we genuinely believe in the integrity of our profession and work hard to maintain the standards expected of everybody involved in the insurance industry.

However, having worked on both sides of the business, including many years in loss adjustment and claims, we do enjoy a privileged position allowing us a greater insight into the mechanics of making a claim.

Our first line of advice is always, call us first. The processes and procedures of making a claim are not for the inexperienced and many a claim is doomed to complete or partial failure before it has even begun, caused by an inadvertent missed step.

We know the process and we understand that on occasion it is necessary to hold the insurers feet to a flame in order to exact the correct decision and we have successfully fought many cases that have been given up by other brokers.
