Like everyone else, we love a good price comparison website, in fact when it comes to buying TV’s, refrigerators or even cars, we would always take a quick look to see who’s offering the best deal, it just makes sense.

But what about when the comparisons aren’t as straightforward?
After all, something like a Bosch Series 8 Washing Machine will always be the same quality whether you buy it from John Lewis, or another fine high street retailer.

Well, when it comes to insurance there’s obviously a great deal more to consider than ‘just’ the price… So where’s the quality comparison website when you need one?
Here at H2i we are committed to making sure that our clients are ‘appropriately’ covered, but what does that mean? Well, it means that we consider very carefully the type of cover that our clients need, we don’t just ask everyone the same questions and tick the same boxes, we take time to look at potential risks and outcomes, with us there’s no such thing as Fitz Hall business, as in ‘one-size-fits-all’.

Sounds expensive?
Not a bit of it. By making sure that businesses only have the protection they need, we save time and money on unnecessary cover, you would be amazed how often a new client review (free by the way), shows up policies that are either outdated or never needed in the first place.
And then of course, there’s the issue of what happens if you need to make a claim, if you check just one thing about your current provider, make it the number of upheld complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service they have against their name…sometimes box ticking can be very, very expensive.

So there you have it, please make sure that when you are considering quotes you’re comparing oranges with oranges.

We will leave the final words to John Ruskin

“It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When
you pay too much, you lose a little money – that’s all. When you pay
too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you
bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.”

OK, not quite the final words, if you would like a review of your policies by a professional insurance broker with decades of industry experience, please call, you have nothing to lose but perhaps a lot to gain.
